The visit of the President of Iran is his first trip abroad since his inauguration in August this year.

Iranian President Said Ibrohim arrives in Dushanbe on an official visit on September 16 at the invitation of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, reported by the information department of the country's foreign affairs agency.

A one-on-one meeting of the two presidents and expanded official delegations is planned.

Following the visit of Said Ibroihim Raisi, a new package of agreements between Tajikistan and Iran is expected to be signed.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the President of Iran in Dushanbe on September 17 will hold a meeting with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Following the results of the Dushanbe SCO summit on September 17, the heads of the SCO member states are expected to make decisions on launching the procedure for admitting Iran as a full SCO member state

Also, at the invitation of Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will pay an official visit to Tajikistan on September 16-17.

He will take part in the anniversary summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as at a joint meeting of the heads of state of the SCO and CSTO in Dushanbe.

It is expected that during this visit, the Prime Minister of Pakistan will meet with the country's top leadership, and a new package of documents on further mutually beneficial cooperation will be signed.
