The Central Bank of Russia has published the volume of cross-border transfers made through payment systems in the first half of 2021.

The total amount of remittances to Tajikistan for this period amounted to $ 752.4 million, which is 10.8% more than in the same period in 2020.

In January-June last year, about $ 679 million was transferred to the republic through payment systems.

Transfers through payment systems to Tajikistan in the second quarter of this year increased to $ 424.5 million from $ 327.9 million in the first quarter.

The average size of one transfer in the first quarter of this year was $ 139, and in the second quarter it grew to $ 154.
