A joint statement was signed by Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanian Citizens Abroad Ismail Sheikh Ahmed.

Foreign Ministers noted the importance of developing bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Mauritania.
