The forum of business circles of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was held the day before, on September 23, in the capital's Hyatt Regency hotel.

This event was organized within the framework of the "Made in Uzbekistan" trade mission by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek delegation includes representatives of more than 40 manufacturing companies of the textile, leather and footwear, food, jewelry, pharmaceutical, construction and furniture industries, the press service of the CCI of Tajikistan reports.

According to Tajik official statistics, the volume of Tajik-Uzbek trade in 8 months of this year amounted to about 277 million, which is 27% more than in the same period of 2020.

Within the framework of the Forum, representatives of Uzbek business were provided with the necessary information about the investment climate of Tajikistan, about projects, measures to support entrepreneurship, as well as about preferences and benefits provided by the government of the republic.

Within the framework of the event, bilateral meetings of entrepreneurs of the two countries were held in the B2B format.
