Tajikistan has presented three cultural relics at the 6th Congress on the World Heritage of CIS that took place through video conferencing: Zarafshon-Karakum; Ferghana-Sydarya; and Hulbuk — Ancient Capital of Khuttal, according to the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan (MoC).

An official source a MoC says the congress participants discussed historical and cultural projects of the Great Silk Road. 

They reportedly also discussed issues related to nominating cultural heritage sites to the UNESCO World Heritage List.  

The main objective of the congress is in strengthening scientific and professional potential of subject-matter specialists to ensure an effective preservation of cultural and natural heritage.
