President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon ordered to allocate to Pakistan, where the elements caused significant damage, humanitarian aid totaling 12 million 200 thousand somoni, the press service of the head of state reports.

«Pakistan is facing serious challenges due to heavy rains and floods that have been going on for more than a month. In this regard, by order of the President of the Republic Emomali Rahmon, humanitarian aid was allocated to the Pakistani people», – the message says.

The aid, in particular, consists of 500 tons of flour, 500 tons of drinking water, 1,000 tons of coal, 1,000 tons of cement, and 20,000 pieces of slate.

It is reported that a convoy of cars with humanitarian aid will leave tomorrow, September 7.
