Tajikistan, Belarus sign cooperation roadmap for 2022-2028, other key cooperation documents

A package of documents was signed in Dushanbe yesterday following official talks between Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.

The Tajik president’s official website says the parties, in particular, approved a cooperation roadmap for 2022-2028.     

Besides, the following cooperation documents were signed:

 

– The Plan of Actions for the development of trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Executive Body of State Power of the city of Dushanbe and the Executive Committee of the city of Minsk for 2023-2024.  This document was signed by Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali and Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev.

– The Government-to-Government Agreement between Tajikistan and Belarus on the mutual trade facilitation system;

– The Government-to-Government Agreement between Tajikistan and Belarus on cooperation in the field of youth policy;

– The Agreement on cooperation in the field of combating corruption between the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of Tajikistan and the General Prosecutor's Office of Belarus;

– The Agreement between the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation in the field of tourism;

– Regulations on the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Belarus on military-technical cooperation;

– The Agreement on scientific cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on training of personnel in the field of virology, microbiology, molecular biology, epidemiology, biotechnology and pharmacology;

– The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Export Development Agency under the Government of Tajikistan and the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of Belarus;

– The Treaty of friendship and cooperation between the Spitamen district of the Sughd Province of Tajikistan and the Mogilev district of the Mogilev Oblast of Belarus.

 

After the ceremony of signing new cooperation documents, Emomali Rahmon and Alexander Lukashenko held a press conference for journalists.
