On Thursday November 10, President Emomali Rahmon paid a working visit to Vahdat Township, some 20 kilometers east of Dushanbe.  According to the Tajik president’s official website, the purpose of the visit was for the head of state to get acquainted with the social and economic situation in the area.  He inaugurated a number of social and economic facilities in Vahdat.  

Emomali Rahmon reportedly first inaugurated a new four-story building of the organization of the ruling People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) in Vahdat. 

After that the president commissioned the new three-story building of general secondary education institution No. 3 in the township. 

The construction of the building was finance by a native businessman, a former graduate of this institution, Yevgeny Mulokandov.

The school is now able to accommodate 720 pupils in two shifts.  

The educational process in this school is conducted in Tajik and Russian languages, and in its new building, 26 people and in total 80 experienced teachers are engaged in education of the younger generation, the Tajik president’s official website says.  

Besides, Emomali Rahmon commissioned the four-story building of the "Hokim" diagnostic and treatment center in Vahdat yesterday. 

It was reported that this center has 13 rooms for hospitalization of patients with 40 beds, and it can receive up to 100 people for outpatient treatment at the same time.  The center also has a modern laboratory where various analyses are carried out.

In continuation of his working trip to Vahdat Township, Emomali Rahmon introduced into operation the first stage of the poultry breeding enterprise Bahori Purfaiz LLC.

In order to develop the poultry industry in the country and supply domestic markets with high-quality domestic products, the Government of Tajikistan has reportedly introduced several concessions.  Using such privileges, the local businessman Ergash Otajonov built the Poultry Farm Bahori Purfaiz, where 30 local residents got permanent jobs.

Bahori Purfaiz LLC was built on the area of 7.5 hectares of land and consists of 9 one-story buildings and 2 two-story buildings.  In just one two-story building, the company now takes care of up to 40,000 chickens, and the necessary conditions have been created for their proper growth and weight gain.

The head of state yesterday also visited the village of Romit and got acquainted with the process of renovating local roads.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the rural roads of Romit have been repaired and renovated every year since 2019 by the Pakrut Limited Liability Company.

To date, more than 10 kilometers of local roads in Romit villages have reportedly been paved and renovated by the company.

Emomali Rahmon also visited the fish breeding ponds of the Bahor Limited Liability Company in Oluchadar, Romit Gorge.    

The company management reportedly presented the new hatchery building and 40 new ponds to the president.    

Local businessman Saidmuhriddin Saifov promised to create new jobs in the future by building other fishing ponds and organizing tourism infrastructure.
