Official press release

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Government of Switzerland support small enterprises in Tajikistan with their growth ambitions.

EBRD's Advice for Small Businesses (ASB) program has been operating in Tajikistan for 15 years.

During this time, the ASB has supported more than 1,000 advisory projects for entrepreneurs, held more than 300 events on market development.  The program helps companies to grow, become stronger, enter new markets, increase turnover, and receive financing to become stronger and more powerful in the national economy.

The EBRD’s Advice for Small Businesses helps private companies with donor support of European Union, Governments of Switzerland, Japan, the USA, We-Fi as well as the EBRD Small Business Impact Fund (contributors are Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, Taiwan, and the Business – Technical Cooperation Fund).

This year one of the ASB donors – the Government of Switzerland marks 30 years of diplomatic relations with Tajikistan.  We are happy to introduce you some of the clients that the EBRD has supported through donor funding.
