The Central Asia “Go Viral” Network, Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR), and the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe invite enthusiasts and experts from the media, business, culture, and technology sectors to join the two-day Go Viral Tajikistan festival that will take place at the Zebunisso Cinema House in Dushanbe on May 26-27.
The festival reportedly promises to be an exciting event featuring an engaging program and notable speakers.
According to the U.S. Embassy, participants will have the opportunity to meet and network with other industry professionals, learn about their field’s latest trends and developments, and join in thought-provoking discussions and workshops.
Musical performances will include the famous Tajik band Avesto, American Music Abroad band Pipeline Vocal Project, an Afghan acoustic rock band, and others.
American keynote speaker Meagan Ward is a Detroit-based entrepreneur. She founded Femology, a women-focused, co-working space providing women with an encouraging and resourceful environment to nurture their goals.
The U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe says that since 2017, the Go Viral Network has empowered journalists, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, and musicians to use media, culture, business, and technology to connect with the world.
The theme of this year’s Go Viral 2023 Festival is: Inspire and Interact. More than 30 speakers at the Festival will represent various companies and organizations including Alif bank, Ilmkhona, MDO Humo, and Coca-Cola.
Las year, the three-day Go Viral Tajikistan innovation festival took place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dushanbe on May 13-15.
The theme of last year’s Go Viral 2022 Festival was: Search. Invent. Solve. Over 50 speakers at the Festival reportedly represented companies and organizations including Alif Bank, Ilmkhona, MDO Humo, Coca-Cola, and Amazon.
The Go Viral Festivals have been held since 2017. Go Viral is a platform for sharing experience, a community of representatives of media, business, culture and technologies in Central Asia’s nations, and the annual regional festival. The project is funded by the Department of State with the support of American diplomatic missions in the Central Asian countries. From October 2021, the project is implemented by the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) Central Asia, whose programs and events are held across the region.
