Now private persons and individual entrepreneurs may pay any kind of taxes without cash with help from Dushanbe City Bank in DC Next app.

Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Dushanbe City Bank presents its customers a new electronic wallet DC Next, with a modern design and new features.

It is noted that one of the main advantages of the new DC Next application is the unique opportunity to pay for public transport – all you have to do is scan the QR code in the transport and confirm the payment. Also in the City Card section you will receive detailed information on your transport card and view the history of your trips.

Besides, DC Next has NFC functionality. This is one of the simplest types of contactless payments. You need to select this payment method and attach your phone to the POS-terminal.

The cashless payment of taxes will be made in accordance with president’s decree of June 22, 2023 on measures to expand cashless payments.

Recall, all Dushanbe-based government agencies are expected to use SmartPay program in their work beginning on August 1, 2023.  The decision to shift all government agencies based in Dushanbe to the cashless payment system reportedly aims to ensure payment of all taxes, duties, fines, license and insurance fees, fees for utilities and other types of public services for implementation of the first stage of the SmartPay program.

It is to be noted that cashless payments hinder tax evasion because they build a trail for the underlying transactions.

Dushanbe City Bank has operated since 2007.  It started as a microcredit deposit organization (MDO).

Today, Dushanbe City Bank provides the following payment services: mobile operators; operators of fixed telephone services; top-up of account of internet providers; payment of customs duties and taxes; utility companies; repayment of loans and replenishment of bank deposits; replenishment of electronic wallets; and payments to foreign mobile operators and service providers, etc.
