The technology of the refinery built on the territory of the “Dangara” Free Economic Zone is designed for light crude, reported First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Tajikistan Ashurboi Solehzoda at a press conference in Dushanbe on April 10.

He noted that Chinese technologies are installed at this plant, since its main investor is a Chinese investor.

According to Solehzoda, this technology is designed for processing light crude, so Kazakh and Russian raw materials are not suitable for this plant.

He stressed that negotiations are currently underway on the supply of the necessary raw materials from Azerbaijan and the UAE.

In addition, Solehzoda added, logistical issues are being resolved, work is underway to find wagons for oil supplies, as well as negotiations on the provision of benefits for the transit transportation of raw materials through the territories of neighboring countries.
