On August 23, 2023, Qozidavlat Qoimdodov, Resident Representative of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in Tajikistan met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of France to Tajikistan H.E. Elsa Pignol.

Sides discussed the mutual cooperation between the AKDN and the Government of France, highlighting the longstanding and fruitful cooperation of a special historical nature, which has strengthened and expanded over time. Issues of further contribution to the development of Tajikistan were also discussed, in particular, great prospects for the tourism industry, which has the opportunity to enter the international level.

Tajikistan continues to demonstrate positive dynamics of growth and development. AKDN, jointly with its development partners, intends to further contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
