A business forum of entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan is scheduled for September 12 at Hilton Dushanbe Hotel in Dushanbe.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, within the framework of the forum, Kazakhstan will be represented by more than 15 manufacturers from various sectors, including the food industry (with the production of butter, flour, pasta, confectionery and meat products), agriculture (with the production of animal feed), telecommunications equipment, network switches, transformer production and phosphate production of fertilizers.
In addition, the mining and exploration industry will be represented at the forum.
"The main purpose of the forum is to find business partners between entrepreneurs of the two countries, as well as to expand trade and economic cooperation," the message reads.
It should be noted that this is not the first experience of cooperation within the framework of such events between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
In previous years, in July 2019 and March 2021, Tajik-Kazakh business forums have already been held in Dushanbe.
In addition, as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Kazakhstan, a business forum of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan was held in Astana on May 3.
The total number of participants exceeded 200 entrepreneurs and representatives of companies from different fields of activity of both countries.
As a result of the business forum, about 40 joint cooperation agreements worth more than $2.6 billion were signed.
