On November 15, WFP organized a press tour to schools in the city of Norak, as part of the efforts to familiarize journalists with the school-feeding program in Tajikistan, which is  funded by the Russian Federation.

The journalists had the opportunity to visit schools and gain insights into the implementation of the program.

Additionally, they reportedly also explored gardens and greenhouses, which were constructed with support from WFP in the area.

Adham Musallam, WFP Representative and Country Director, and Vera Khutorskaya, Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Dushanbe, interacted with journalists during the media tour.

WFP has been implementing the School Feeding Programme (SFP) in Tajikistan since 1999.
