The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, will pay an official visit to the Russian Federation from March 15 to 17, the Tajik president’s official website reports. 

“During the visit, issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and security spheres, as well as regional and international matters of mutual interest, will be discussed,” the statement said.

Following the talks between Emomali Rahmon and President Vladimir Putin, a number of documents will be signed, although the specific details were not disclosed.

The last time the President of Tajikistan visited Russia was in December 2024 to participate in an informal summit of the heads of states of the CIS member countries.
