From April 23 to 29, Tajikistan's Culture Days will be held in China. The events will take place in Beijing and Xi'an, featuring a rich program with performances by Tajik pop stars, musicians, dancers, applied arts masters, and media representatives, according to the Ministry of Culture (MoC).

An official source at a MoC says the event is part of the cultural exchange between the two countries and “strengthens humanitarian ties, introducing the Chinese audience to the rich cultural heritage of the Tajik people.”

This will be the fourth Culture Days of Tajikistan in China, following previous events in 2008, 2013, and 2019.

“The events in Beijing and Xi'an will be filled with a diverse program, including performances by famous artistes, musicians, dancers, applied arts masters, and media representatives,” the source stated.

The concert program will be directed by renowned Tajik director Bahriddin Rajabov.

The delegation traveling to China includes vocal performers, including famous singers and soloists: Nigina Amonqulova, Sitora Karomatullo, Fotima Mashrab, Muhammadrafe Karomatullo, Sharofat Usmonzoda, Manouchehr Rahmonov (soloists from the Opera and Ballet Theater), as well as singers Firdavs Hoshimov, Shohin Abdullo, and Sorbon Taghoyev.

Special attention will be given to the ballet group, featuring artistes from the State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Ayni, Farangis Saidzoda and Muhammad Azimzoda.

The "Gulrez" dance ensemble will also contribute to creating a unique atmosphere for the concert program.

A traditional arts and fashion exhibition, which will also be part of Culture Days, will delight viewers with a variety of creations by Tajik craftsmen.

Among the participants are well-known designers and masters: Khurshed Sattorov and Raihon Davlatshoeva, the organizers of the national clothing show, and artist Farrukh Ne'matzoda, who will curate the painting exhibition.

The exhibition will feature works by jeweler Gulmohammad Jorubov, master of national souvenirs Muhammadjon Yokubov, and woodcarving master Saidma'ruf Hasanov.

Among the delegation members is also the Chairman of the Union of Craftsmen of Tajikistan, Muffarah Mukhabatov.

The Ministry of Culture is confident that Tajikistan's Culture Days program will be vibrant and diverse, reflecting the culture, traditions, and craftsmanship of the Tajik people, and will be an important step in strengthening cultural ties between Tajikistan and China.
