Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan sign a number of cooperation documents

The Tajik president’s official website says that after the conclusion of the high-level talks between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, a ceremony of signing new cooperation documents was held in the presence and with the participation of the Heads of State, Emomali Rahmon and  Sadyr Japarov.  

The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a Joint Statement.

The following documents were signed in the presence of the presidents:

– An Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on confidence-building measures;

– A Government-to-Government Agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on the establishment of the Intergovernmental Council of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan;

– A Government-to-Government Agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, land surveying, cadaster, registration of real estate and remote observation of the Earth;

– A Government-to-Government Agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology, product conformity assessment and accreditation;

– A Government-to-Government Agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the field of tourism;

– A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration of Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the social sphere;

– A MoU between the Public Service Agency under the President of Tajikistan and the State Agency for Public Service and Local Self-Government under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the field of civil service;

– A Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan for 2026-2027;

– An Action Plan between the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Economy and Trade of Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the field of industry for 2025-2026;

– A MoU Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development;

– A MoU on cooperation between the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting under the Government of Tajikistan and the National Broadcasting Corporation of Kyrgyzstan;

– A MoU on cooperation between the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan and the Scientific and Research Institute of Crop Production under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Industrial Processing of Kyrgyzstan;

– An Agreement on the Establishment of a Business Council between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan.
