There have been several high-profile cases of violence against children in Tajikistan recently. One of the most notorious was the death of 15-year-old teenager Khusrav Odinev, who was mutilated to death by his own father. He tied his son by the legs to the car and dragged him for several meters. The teenager was seriously injured and died on the same day.
