22-year-old graduate MDIST appointed deputy education minister of Uzbekistan

As experiment, a 22-year-old graduate of Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIST), Alishet Saydullayev, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan.

By Uzbek president’s decree the 22-year-old director of the “Result” Training Center, Alisher Saydullayev, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan, according to Uznews.uz.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reportedly noticed Alisher Saydullyaev at a congress of Uzbekistan’s Civic Youth Movement “Kamolot” (Perfection) that took place in Tashkent on June 30.

In his address to the congress, Saydullayev raised the issues related to perspectives of studying foreign languages in Uzbekistan.

The president reportedly noticed Saydullayev and ordered to appoint him as deputy minister of public education. 

Addressing the congress, the president also proposed to shut up the organization and establish the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan on the basis of it.

Meanwhile, UzDaily.com reports the president criticized the activities of Kamolot and offered the creation of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan.

The delegates reportedly supported the proposal to establish the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan on the basis of the Kamolot.

Kakhramon Kuronboev was elected the chairman of the central council of Uzbekistan Youth Union

Alisher Saydullayev was born in the Jizakh region on July 11, 1994.  He graduated from Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIST).  

Established in In September 2007, Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIST), is one of the first international university branches opened in Uzbekistan. It was established to cover the high demand for professionals in various fields.  Since its founding, it has trained more than 10,000 graduates.

MDIST is currently serving students of Uzbekistan and other CIS countries, including Tajikistan. Its program areas are as follows: Entrepreneurship and Management; Business and Marketing; Banking and Finance; Accounting and Finance; Business Computing; and International Hospitality Management.
