Uzbek Health Minister has reported the 88th COVID-19 linked death in the country.
Citing Uzbek Health Ministry, repost.uz says 214 new officially confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the country as of July 19
Of those new cases, 34 cases have reportedly been reported in the Quarantine Center, 76 have been report in Tashkent, 32 in Andijan oblast, 25 in Namangan oblast, 21 in Syrdarya oblast, 11 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 9 in Jizakh oblast, and 5 in Navoi oblast.
Uzbek Health Ministry says 9,279 (55 percent) COVID-19 patients have recovered as of the night of July 19, 2020.
7,599 patients are still undergoing medical treatment; 81 of them are in serious condition and 23 others are in critical condition.
According to the Health Ministry, an official number of the coronavirus-linked deaths in Uzbekistan has reached 88.
The COVID-19 pandemic in Uzbekistan is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was confirmed to have spread to Uzbekistan when its first case was confirmed on March 15, 2020, an Uzbek citizen returning from France.
