Kazakhstan has delivered a consignment of portable lung ventilators to Tajikistan.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan (MoIID), 100 portable lung ventilators were sent to Tajikistan on December 22.
MoIID press center says Kokshetau-based Tynys plant manufactures the portable lung ventilator of new generation, Kokshetau-4P.
The plant reportedly produces up to 500 such ventilators per month. The price for one portable lung ventilators is 750,000 tenges (equivalent to almost 1,700 U.S. dollars).
The portable lung ventilator is designed for artificial lung ventilation at ambulance cars, on-site, in field conditions, also at clinical surgery units, intensive care units.
