The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon went on a working trip to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region early this morning.
Here, as expected, he will take part in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of state independence, open objects for various purposes, talk with residents of the region and its activists.
Farmers from 9 cities and regions of the country, including GBAO, Khatlon and Sughd, presented a variety of beekeeping products, fruits and vegetables.
40 tons of products were presented at the festival, including 15 tons of various types of honey, beeswax, and other beekeeping products.
Further, the head of state held a meeting with the activists of Darvaz and Vanj districts.
The President noted that over the years of independence of Tajikistan, the government of the republic has allocated 1.2 billion somoni for the development of Darvaz, and Vanj – 340 million somoni.
He said that from 2021 to 2025, the government will allocate another 405 million somoni for the development of Darvaz, and 160 million somoni for Vanj.
In the jamoat of Anjiraki Kalai Khumb of Darvaz district, the president commissioned the building of the justice center and a children's sports ground.
The President also held a meeting with orphans from Darvaz and Vanj districts – about 100 orphans of Vanj and Darvaz received clothes, sweets, teaching aids and financial assistance from the hands of the head of state.
