A Tajik economic delegation consisting of senior representatives of Joint-Stock Company (JSC) Orienbonk, JSC Tawhidbonk and Somon Air (Tajikistan’s privately owned air carrier) has visited Germany.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, a series of meetings of the delegation have been organized at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Berlin to further develop and expand trade and economic cooperation with leading German companies.
On March 31, a meeting was held with Mr. Gunnar Gross, General Secretary Airbus Operations GmbH, to establish mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of air transport.
Along with familiarization with the multifaceted activities of Airbus Operations GmbH" the Tajik delegation also got acquainted with the production process of various brands of Airbus passenger aircrafts.
Located in Hamburg, Airbus Operations GmbH is part of the Aerospace Product and Parts Manufacturing Industry. Airbus Operations GmbH has 19,914 employees at this location and generates US$9.93 billion in sales. There are 429 companies in the Airbus Operations GmbH corporate family.
On the same day, the delegation members reportedly met with senior representatives of JSC Euler Hermes, including Mr. Jan-Philipp Apking, Head of Division Underwriting & Risk Management and Mr. Berthold Reuter, Senior Adviser Transportation.
The parties reportedly discussed issues related to further expansion of cooperation.
