DUSHANBE, October 18, 2014, Asia-Plus — Five residents of the Hisor district – Farhod Abdulloyev, 23, Bahrullo Mustafoqulov, 23, Murod Nazarov, 22, Emomiddin Bahodourov, 22,and Siyovoush Odiljon, 21 – have been detained on suspicion of committing burglary of residential building in the Hisor district and attacking the gas station in Dushanbe, the Interior Ministry’s website reports.
On October 9, they reportedly burst into the house of Hisor resident R.S., 36, and severely beat him and member of his family, including his 12-year-old son R.J. The assailants reportedly seized some 10,000 somoni (equivalent to some 2,000 U.S. dollars), the website says.
On October 16, Farhod Abdulloyev, Bahrullo Mustafoqulov, Murod Nazarov, Emomiddin Bahodourov and Siyovoush Odiljon reportedly attacked the gas station “Umed-88” located on the Shestopalov Street in Dushanbe. They beat the gas station employees Damir Karimov, 21, and Karomatullo Pirzoda, 22, and seized more than 4,000 somoni, according to the website.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Abdulloyev, Mustafoqulov, Odiljon, Nazarov and Bahodourov; an investigation is under way.
