DUSHANBE, February 2, 2015, Asia-Plus – Five persons were killed on January 30 as two vehicles collided in the northern Sughd province.
According to the Interior Ministry traffic police department, a two-vehicle crash took place in the Shahriston district at around 11:00 pm.
“Xingcheng, driven by the 35-year-old resident of the Bobojonghafourov district, Ahmadkhon Olimov, went into oncoming traffic and collided with Honda CR-V, driven by the 56-year-old resident of Dushanbe, Azim Kholov,” the source said.
As a result of the collision the Honda CR-V driver and his four passengers reportedly died on the spot.
