A three year-old boy was killed on December 8 after being struck by a car in the Vose district of the Khatlon province.

The accident took place in the territory of the Okhchar village in the afternoon at round 3:30 pm, according to the Interior Ministry’s official website.

Dushanbe resident, Shirinbek Ghafourov, 27, apparently lost control of his Opel-Astra while driving out the Okhchar village and hit a three-year-old Usmon Khoushvakhtov. The boy died on the spot.

The cause of the accident is under way.
