The Interior Ministry is reportedly continuing search for missing cousins Sabina Aralova and Malika Aralova though more than three and a half years have passed since the girls disappeared.

Recall, cousins Malika, 5, and Sabina, 4, Aralova were last seen on March 25, 2013 when they went outside to play not far from the Sadbarg Trade Center in Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district.

The Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda took the search for Malika and Sabina under his control.

Volunteer groups have been set up through social networks to help in the search of the two girls but all efforts to find the girls have been futile.

Senior representatives from the Interior Ministry told journalists on April 23, 2013, that the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Interpol had been involved in the investigation into the disappearance of cousins Sabina and Malika.

Sabina and Malika, age 4 and 6, disappeared after they went out to play in Dushanbe’s Ayni Street on March 25, 2013.
