Tajik chief prosecutor Yusuf Rahmon proposes to nationalize residential buildings built on the lands that were obtained illegally through a court.
“To date, 540 criminal proceedings have been instituted over illegal buying and selling of lands and 3,772 hectares of lands have been given back to the state,” Prosecutor-General Yusuf Rahmon told reporters in Dushanbe on August 3.
The prosecutor assured that persons engaged in illegal buying and selling of land lots would be brought to justice.
Rahmon further noted that they were currently considering the issue of nationalizing residential buildings built on the lands that had been obtained illegally.
