President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in honor of the Day of Knowledge spoke to the students (илиcadets) of the Academy of the Interior Ministry, spending for them traditional outdoor "Lesson of Peace."
“In his speech, Emomali Rahmon noted that at the end of last and the beginning of this centuries our planet is faced with new challenges and threats. Our planet has faced new challenges and threats such as extremism, terrorism, religious wars, drug trafficking, climate change, strengthening of superpower confrontation”, – the presidential press service reports.
"In such circumstances, we must make every effort to protect the world and stability on our land, strengthen the foundations of the state, strengthen the country's defense capability," – the president said.
Emomali Rahmon also noted that Tajik people know the price of peace and stability on their land, as they survived the civil war which was forced by some traitors, leaders of some parties supported by their foreign owners, who wanted to turn Tajikistan into an Islamic state.
Emomali Rahmon urged Tajik teachers on Knowledge Day to explain to their students the importance of peace and stability in Tajikistan, to educate them in the spirit of patriotism and love of peace.
Then the president in solemn atmosphere put a new complex of buildings of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan into operation. This construction was started in 2014.
About 70 million somoni, allocated from the state budget and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, were spent on the construction of the complex and its full equipment.
To date, there are 2200 cadets, including 156 girls who are studying in the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
