Dushanbe authorities announce tender for construction of Tajik capital’s highest monument

Dushanbe authorities have announced a tender for construction of the second phase the “Istiqloliyat” (Independence) with the “Istiqloliyat and Ozodi” (Independence and Freedom) architectural complex.

A total area of the “Istiqloliyat” Park, which is being constructed in the center of Dushanbe (behind the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex, “Avesta” Hotel and Teachers Training University), will be 30 hectares, according to the Dushanbe Administration press center.  

The “Istiqloliyat and Ozodi” architectural complex will be built in the area of 8.5 hectares.

Both domestic and foreign companies can participate in the tender and the deadline for submission of documents is February 15.  The tender results will be published on February 18. 

The “Istiqloliyat” Park is expected to be commissioned in 2021 by the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan Independence, which is celebrated on September 9.
