Regional administrators report to the president on progress of harvesting campaigns

President Emomali Rahmon yesterday had a conference call with mayors of Tursunzoda and Hisor cities as well as heads of Rasht, Lakhsh and Nourobod districts, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

The regional administrators reportedly reported to the president on progress of harvesting campaigns in their regions.  

They, in particular, reported on potato sowing campaign, harvesting vegetables and fruits, and preparing sectors of the national economy for the autumn-winter period.  

The head of state ordered them to take adequate measures to ensure development of the agrarian sector, timely harvest, export of agricultural goods, providing the consumer market with essential products, and preserving food products for the winter months.
