DUSHANBE, July 3, 2013, Asia-Plus — Officers from the State Committee for National Security (SCNS)’s office for the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) have reportedly detained members of the drug-trafficking group crime.

They are suspected of drug peddling.  They reportedly sold narcotic drugs to Khudobakhsh Khudobakhshev, Habib Khoushdilov, Taygoun Tayghounov and Marodmad Pirakov.  While searching Khudobakhshev and Pirakov, law enforcement officers found heroin and syringe.  They said that they had bought narcotics from Temourbek Bozorov.

More than two kilograms of heroin, Makarov pistol, 27,000 somoni, 300 grams of precious stones and rubber boat were found in Bozorov’s house.

The preliminary investigation has established that Bozorov bought those 300 grams of precious stones form an officer of the GBAO emergency management agency.
