In orde to ensure public safety and order on Independence Day, which is on 9 September, as well as during the 11-12 September Dushanbe Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, extra forces and means of the Interior Ministry are being brought to the capital. This is reported by a spurce in one of the law-enforcement agencies.
According to him, public places, streets, areas adjacent to the SCO Summit and the Independence Day ceremonies sites will be placed under enhanced and permanent protection.
The source said: “It is expected that as of the end of August all the law-enforcement agencies” personnel will be placed under stricter service, or the so-called ”barrack”s regime”.”
