At the end of August, special operative groups of the Badakhshan Section of the Drug Control Agency found wild cannabis in Buni village of Shirinjanov

in Badakhshan’s Shoghnan district.
Three thousand bushes in the total area of 0.2 hectares of land were destroyed by cutting and burning, as reported by the Drug-Control Agency’s press center.
According to the released information, on the same day, approximately 30 thousand bushes of wild cannabis in 0.8 hectares in Babajan Ghafourov district of Soghd province were found and destroyed.
