DUSHANBE, June 10, 2016, Asia-Plus – Two residents of Khatlon’s Hamadoni district have been detained with a large amount of hashish in Dushanbe.
According to the press service of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan, the drug couriers were detained yesterday.
11 packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing 10.22 kilograms were reportedly confiscated from them.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug couriers under the provisions of Article 200 (4) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – large-scale drug trafficking; an investigation is under way.
