Computerized Armed Forces Management Center officially opens in Dushanbe

The Computerized Armed Forces Management Center has official opened in Tajikistan.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the official opening ceremony of the Armed Forces Management Center took place in Dushanbe on February 21.  The event was reportedly timed to coincide with celebration of the 25th anniversary of the formation of Tajikistan’s National Army.  

The official opening ceremony was attended by President Emomali, Defense Minister Sherali Mirzo and some other high-ranking officials.

The Armed Forces Management Center, which is the supreme command and control center of the Tajik Ministry of Defense and the Tajik Armed Forces, is reportedly connected to the administrative centers of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), Sughd and Khatlon provinces and the Rasht region (eastern Tajikistan).  

The Center is provided with the state-of-the-art system of classified video conference through which information will be provided in an electronic format.  

The Computerized Armed Forces Management Center is considered as the ultimate body responsible for the Defense Ministry's management and supervision.

The second stage reportedly provides for creating the center for computerized management of air defense forces, center for management of ground forces, etc.

Besides, mobile management units will be created.
