Tajik and Uzbekistan military will hold joint exercises again

At one of the training grounds in Uzbekistan, servicemen of two countries will try together to destroy conditional terrorists.

Military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan will take part in joint exercises to destroy conditional terrorist groups in the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan.

The exercises will begin next week.

«Within 5 days, about two hundred military personnel of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, as well as military command bodies and a number of units of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan will practice combat operations to identify and eliminate conventional terrorist gangs in remote mountainous areas in Namangan region», – said the head of the press center of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, Orif Nozimiyon.

The first joint exercises of the military personnel of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were held September 18-22, 2018. The exercises were held at the “Chorrukh-Dayron” training center and the “Nurafshon” training ground located in the Sughd region.
