DUSHANBE, October 21, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) has worked out the horse-breeding development program designed for 2009-2014, the head of MoA livestock directorate Muzaffar Mirzoyev said in an interview with Asia-Plus. 

According to him, the program has already been coordinated with relevant ministries and organizations and will be submit for consideration to the government today. 

Mirzoyev said that the estimated budget for implementation of the programs was some 250,000 somoni.

Tajikistan now has eight stud farms and the total number of horses in all categories of farms across the country is 77,000, Mirzoyev said.
