For the nine months of the current year the volume of investments in the country’s tourist sphere has been increased 2.5 times and has made US$ 523 million, reported Kazinform with refernce to Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
By the results of the first half of the year the number of inbound tourists has grown by 13.3% (2.4 mln people in analogous period in 2007) and domestic tourists – by 3.4% (2.1 mln people). The total volume of tourism services has been increased by 60.8% .
According to a press release, visa regime for the citizens of the Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Israel has been simplified. Following countries are to be included in the list in the nearest future: Croatia, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Malta.
