KHUAJND, September 7, 2008, Asia-Plus — An additional building to accommodate 240 pupils has been built to school # 14 in the village of Sakhsiyon, Sughd’s Istaravshan district due to financial support of local entrepreneur Hoji Abdukholiq Muminov.

According to the Sughd education directorate, 65 secondary schools with totaling more than 48,000 pupils currently function in northern Tajikistan.
