DUSHANBE, September 5, 2008, Asia-Plus — Officers from Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA) have seized more than 1,105 kilograms of narcotics over the first eight months of 2008, which is 44 percent more than in the same period of last year, according to the DCA press service.
The totaled included more than 261 kilograms of heroin, 486 kilograms of raw opium and some 358 kilograms of cannabis.
