DUSHANBE, August 14, 2008, Asia-Plus – Operation carried out by officers from the Sughd counternarcotics directorate in Kostakoz jamoat of the Bobojonghafurov district on August 13 led to the arrest of local resident N., who is suspected of having been involved in drug trafficking, press service of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) said.
More than 27 kilograms of cannabis were found in his garage.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the alleged drug trafficker and an investigation is under way.
