DUSHANBE, August 14, 2008, Asia-Plus  — On Wednesday August 14, the government issued a resolution endorsing a program for socioeconomic development of Sughd’s Mastchoh district, according to presidential press service.  The program is designed for 2008-2015.

 The ministries of economic development and trade and finance, state committee for investments and state-owned property management as well as local authorities of the Sughd province and the Mastchoh district are to work out design estimates within means, provided for by the national budget, with attraction of domestic and foreign investments and take necessary measures to ensure implementation of the program. 

Local authorities of the Sughd province and the Mastchoh district are charged to organize discussion of the program with local and international NGOs for coordination of their programs with priorities and objectives of the program for socioeconomic development of the Mastchoh district, the press service said.
