DUSHANBE, August 14, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The Ministry of Health (MoH) intends to open two inter-district educational-clinical department of family medicine in the Shahrinav and Danghara district.  

The source at a MoH said that the departments are set up within the framework of implementation of the departmental program for training of medical personnel for 2006-2010.  

“These departments are dedicated to raise professionalism of medical workers at non-centralized level,” the MoH source said, adding that similar inter-district centers for raising qualification of medical workers had already been set up in Kulob in the Khatlon province, Istaravshan and Panjakent in the Sughd province, as well as in the Rasht Valley.
