Police burn more than 722 kilos of narcotic drugs Thursday

DUSHANBE, March 13, 2014, Asia-Plus – Police burned 722.387 kilograms of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances at the Tekstilmash plant in Dushanbe on March 13.

According to the Interior Ministry’s website, a totaled included 43.071 kilograms of heroin, 314.474 kilograms of hashish, 248.622 kilograms of cannabis, 11.220 kilograms of raw opium and more than 105 grams of methadone (synthetic opioid).

The drugs were reportedly confiscated in the course of 2011-2013 and were material evidences in 112 criminal cases.
