DUSAHNBE, July 21, 2008, Asia-Plus — Officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) have stopped a drug pushing attempt in Dushanbe.
The DCA press service said that following received information, their officers detained the 29-year-old resident of Dushanbe on July 19. 169 wraps of narcotic drug that tested positive to heroin weighing 1.261 kilograms were confiscated from him.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the drug pusher and an investigation is under way.
