DUSHANBE, August 4, 2014, Asia-Plus — Four people were killed and at least one injured in four traffic accidents that occurred in Tajikistan last Sunday, August 3.

According to the Interior Ministry traffic police department, one person was killed and at least one injured on August 3 as heavy truck KAMAZ fell into the river in the Varzob district.

On the same day, the driver of Toyota, Rahmatsho Qalandarov, 49, died as his car smashed into heavy truck Howo in the Varzob district.

One more fatal traffic accident took place on the same day in the Roudaki district.  Motor-scooter, driven by Khurshed Umarov, 38, was smashed by heavy truck KAMAZ.  The scooter passenger, Nazrisho Mahmadsherov, 19, was killed in the accident.

Besides, the 30-year-old resident of the city of Istaravshan, Sharaf Abdulloyev, died after his Opel-Astra turned over, the source said.
