DUSHANBE, July 15, 2008, 2008 — Six employees of the Tajik national TV channel, Safina, recently returned from Turkey, where they had taken a month-long training course at Turkey’s central television, Asia-Plus ahs learned from the Safina director general Mahmadsaid Pirov.
“French TV company B-TWEEN (phonetically spelled) will take part in technical re-equipment of the Safina channel and improvement of professionalism of its employees in the near future under the reached agreements,” the director general said.
He further added that the movie entitled “Love of Life,” made by the Safina channel, will be submitted to the verdict of viewers before the 17th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence Day, which is marked on September 9 and Safina will shoot the documentary entitled “Tajikistan” in cooperation with foreign documentary film makers before the end of 2008.
