DUSHANBE, February 3, 2015, Asia-Plus — The Central Commission for Elections and Referenda has endorsed sample ballot papers for the upcoming parliamentary elections that will take place in the country on March 1, 2015.

“The ballot papers are protected by hologram against counterfeit,” the head of the CCER’s office Abdumannon Dodozoda said, noting that the hologram depicts a crown surmounted by an arc of seven stars.

“After an official registration of the parliamentary candidates and determination of the number of voters, the ballot papers will be printed at the special workshop of the publishing house Sharqi Ozod,” the CCER official noted.

Ten days before the elections the ballot papers will be distributed to the polling stations, Dodozoda added.
